Under sweltering temperatures and on one of the most demanding circuits on the calendar, Rodrigo Almeida once again put Mozambique in the spotlight. The Mozambican driver took second place in one of the races held at the Sepang circuit in Malaysia, strengthening his championship campaign at a decisive point in the season.

The weekend put drivers, machines and teams to the test. The intense heat made conditions particularly demanding, requiring a high level of endurance, concentration and adaptability throughout the races.

It was in this setting that Rodrigo Almeida managed to remain competitive and focused. The driver finished one of the races in second position, securing a podium place, and took fourth place in the other. The two results allowed him to add important points to his championship standing.

The visit to Sepang was thus another important test in a season in which every result carries more weight as the championship decider approaches.

“It was a very difficult weekend, above all because of the high temperatures, but we stayed strong and focused right to the end. We managed to get a second place in one of the races and a fourth place in the other, important results for continuing to pick up points in the championship,” said Rodrigo Almeida.

For the Mozambican driver, the performance achieved in Malaysia was not solely the result of the work done on track. Almeida also highlighted the collective effort of the team, especially in the face of the adverse conditions endured over the several days of competition.

“I want to thank the whole team for their work and dedication throughout these difficult days, as well as the sponsors for their constant support. We are moving on strongly to Singapore, for the final races of the championship,” he added.

The second and fourth places won in Sepang reinforce the consistency Rodrigo Almeida has shown throughout the season and keep the driver in the running for significant positions in the overall standings.

Now, attention turns to Singapore. It is in that country that Rodrigo Almeida will return to competition to contest the final races of the championship and close a season marked by a competitive presence in the different challenges of the calendar.
