Xonguila is a Mozambican magazine dedicated to informing and surprising its readers with the best, most beautiful and most diverse that Mozambique has to offer.

Through its pages and digital platforms, it gives space to the people, talents, places and initiatives that make the country a land rich in creativity and potential, seeking to convey an inspiring and positive image of Mozambique.

Our history

Xonguila was born in 2018 from an idea shared by Omar Diogo, Nuno Soares, Mariano Silva and Nuno Azevedo, four entrepreneurs united by the desire to create a publication that would showcase Mozambique through its people, its creativity and the stories that deserve to be known.

The first issue was published in April 2018. Since then, Xonguila has been published monthly, establishing itself on the Mozambican editorial scene through a positive approach, original content and a strong visual component.

Born as a magazine, Xonguila has evolved into an editorial ecosystem that combines print publication, website, social media, video, audio, newsletter and different forms of digital distribution.
