The Zambezi Valley Development Agency, in collaboration with the High Commission of Mozambique in Malawi, today launched, in the town of Ulongué, Angónia district, in Tete, a project aimed at the internationalisation of the Mozambican economy. This initiative aims to strengthen Mozambique's presence in the Malawian market, promoting the country's image abroad and stimulating bilateral and multilateral trade.

The project responds to President Filipe Nyusi's call for the promotion of economic diplomacy as a means of attracting greater direct foreign investment.

The Zambezi Valley Agency plays a crucial role in this strategy, promoting local products in international markets, while the High Commission in Malawi works to remove economic barriers to facilitate trade. The initiative also aims to create a platform that supports the competitiveness of national economies in external markets, fostering stronger integration between Mozambique and its trading partners.
