Mozambique is seeking to benefit from Zambia's experience in the production of seeds and fertilisers, with the aim of boosting national agricultural production. During his visit to Zambia, the President of the Republic, Filipe Nyusi, visited a large factory that produces three hundred and thirty thousand tonnes of seeds and fertilisers a year. This Zambian factory already exports its products to several African countries, including Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Malawi.

President Filipe Nyusi said he was impressed by the factory's operation and stressed that Mozambique has the potential to apply the knowledge gained in Zambia in order to improve agricultural production in the country.

Also during the visit, Filipe Nyusi addressed the plenary of the Zambian parliament, where he spoke about Mozambique's political stability despite the challenges posed by the terrorist attacks in Cabo Delgado. The day was also marked by a meeting between the President and the Mozambican community living in Zambia, strengthening the ties between the two countries.

This visit represents an important step for regional cooperation and the sustainable development of agriculture in Mozambique, building on successful practices observed in Zambia.
