From 21 to 24 June 2025, Mozambique will host a special edition of the Presidential Golf Day, an initiative forming part of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of National Independence. The event is included in the calendar of Major National and International Events, with the endorsement of the Interministerial Commission – CIGENI – responsible for multi-sector strategic coordination.
More than a sporting competition, the Presidential Golf Day is establishing itself as a platform for the international projection of the Mozambique brand, combining economic diplomacy, tourism promotion, cultural exchange and philanthropic actions. The choice of golf as a catalyst for these objectives reflects the intention to position the country as a prestigious destination, where sport and strategy go hand in hand.
The event will be coordinated by Danilo Nhantumbo, President of AMOGOLFE and a member of the Mozambique Olympic Committee, reinforcing the involvement of national sports bodies in an occasion of continental and international visibility.
CIGENI recognises the merit of this special edition and recommends its inclusion among the main national events, highlighting its contribution to strengthening the public relations of the Mozambican State and to promoting an environment conducive to multilateral cooperation.
