Millennium bim closed the 2025 financial year with solid operating performance, confirming the consistency of its strategy of sustainable growth, efficiency and prudent risk management, in a year particularly marked by demanding macroeconomic challenges.

Despite an adverse environment, Banking Income grew by 6.4% compared with 2024, reaching 19,229 million meticais, driven above all by the expansion of customer business.

Even in the face of the sharp fall in interest rates, Net Interest Income rose by 7.6%, benefiting from higher volumes and rigorous price management. Still in a demanding context, the bank's commercial performance allowed commissions to grow by 0.8% compared with the previous year.

Lending grows and market position is strengthened

Customer Lending (gross) recorded a significant increase of 12.4%, reaching 52.9 billion meticais, underpinned by the positive trajectory of lending to households and businesses.

This momentum allowed Millennium bim to significantly strengthen its market share, consolidating its position as one of the leading institutions in the national financial system.

The bank maintained a prudent risk management policy, which made it possible to preserve a high quality of the loan portfolio. At the end of 2025, the ratio of loans overdue by more than 90 days stood at 2.5%, while the impairment coverage rate exceeded 275%.
