As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility programme “Mais Moçambique pra Mim”, Millennium bim has donated refurbished IT equipment
to the Maputo Industrial Institute, a leading institution in technical and vocational training in Mozambique.
Part of the national network of Technical and Vocational Education Institutes (IETP), the Institute plays an important role in qualifying young people for the labour market, promoting technical skills aligned with the country's needs.
The upgrading of its computer stock will help improve teaching and learning conditions, widening access to technological tools essential to the
development of digital skills.
The ceremony was attended by Millennium bim's Regional Director of the Commercial Area – South, Miguel Crispim, and the Director of the Maputo Industrial Institute,
Zacarias Samuel Bie, who highlighted the impact of the initiative on strengthening technical training and promoting digital inclusion.
“Investing in technical training is investing in the future of the country. Guaranteeing access to suitable technological tools means creating better conditions for
young people to develop practical skills and strengthen their employability”, said Miguel Crispim.
For his part, Zacarias Samuel Bie thanked the Bank for its support, stressing that:
“The upgrading of the computer stock will make it possible to improve the quality of the training provided and to support students in preparing for the labour market.”
With this initiative, Millennium bim reinforces its commitment to education and youth empowerment, recognising technology as a decisive instrument for the country's sustainable development.
