For seven days, Vodacom turned its presence at FACIM 2026 into a showcase of connectivity, innovation and solutions for businesses. In a modern, high-tech stand designed to offer visitors an interactive experience, the operator presented different dimensions of its ecosystem. One of the major highlights came on the second day, with the launch of the campaign “Same Price. Better Quality”, a commitment centred on the relationship between price, quality and customer experience.
There was technology, demonstrations, digital solutions and different experiences to discover. But above all, there was an idea running through Vodacom's presence at FACIM 2026: to show how technology can be ever closer to people's lives.
That intention began with the stand itself. With contemporary architecture, a strong technological identity and different areas for interaction, the space conveyed innovation and modernity while staying close to those who visited it.
More than an institutional presence within the fair, it worked as a showcase of the different areas in which Vodacom is present in Mozambicans' lives. Over the seven days of FACIM, each day was dedicated to a specific aspect of the brand, covering connectivity, M-Pesa, small and medium-sized enterprises, business solutions and customer experience. But one of the most striking moments came on the second day.
A campaign about value
It was on the day dedicated to digital lifestyle that Vodacom officially presented its new campaign. With Linda Riwa and Riaz Jassat among the spokespeople, the launch included a presentation of the campaign, the screening of the advertising film and a moment of interaction around a particularly relevant question in the telecoms market: the relationship between what customers pay and the experience they receive.
For Riaz Jassat, Marketing Director of Vodacom Mozambique, it is precisely in everyday experience that a brand shows its true value.
“The truth is simple: a brand does not live only in adverts. It lives in people's real experience.”
The phrase helps to explain the concept behind the new campaign. Instead of focusing all attention on products or offers, Vodacom seeks to talk about the experience of using the service, from the quality of a call to the speed of sending an email, by way of trust in a transaction or the ability to stay connected to the people and services that matter most.
“Rather than talking about products or offers, we wanted to talk about what really matters to consumers: the experience they have with us every day”, explains Riaz Jassat.
It is in this context that the message “Same Price. Better Quality.” arises. The campaign seeks to convey the idea that affordability and quality need not go separate ways and that the value of a service is also measured by the experience it provides.
A campaign with a Mozambican flavour
There is another element that sets the campaign apart: the search for a language close to the reality of the country. The pieces draw inspiration from Mozambican humour and from familiar everyday situations. These are moments that could happen in a home, a neighbourhood or different parts of Mozambique, creating communication in which the public can recognise itself.
According to Riaz Jassat, this closeness is part of how Vodacom wants to build its relationship with consumers.
“We seek to be close to people, to listen more and to understand their realities, aspirations and challenges better.”
The choice of humour and everyday situations is therefore not merely aesthetic. It seeks to make the message closer and more recognisable, in a market where consumers are better informed, have more alternatives and expect what a brand says to match their real experience.
For Vodacom Mozambique's Marketing Director, this relationship becomes even more important in a young country in transformation.
“Technology evolves, services change and habits shift. But something remains: the importance of trust.”
Far beyond connectivity
The launch of the campaign was one of the high points of a presence that sought to show the scale of Vodacom's ecosystem.
On the third day, the spotlight moved to M-Pesa, with demonstrations of digital financial services and a focus on solutions such as Juntatxi, Txuna and Xitique. The aim was to show how digital tools can make payments easier, make transactions more secure and contribute to greater financial inclusion.
There followed a day dedicated to small and medium-sized enterprises, with entrepreneurs' stories and examples of the use of connectivity and digital payment solutions in business. Here, technology appeared above all as a tool for improving processes, increasing efficiency and supporting business growth.
The business dimension took on even greater prominence on the fifth day, with the presentation of Cloud, Internet of Things and Microsoft 365 solutions and salary payment through M-Pesa, among other tools aimed at organisations.
The programme also set aside space for the experience of premium customers, through the HVC offering and the Tudotop benefits, before ending with a day dedicated to thanking customers, partners and visitors.
From promise to experience
Taken as a whole, Vodacom's participation in FACIM 2026 went far beyond displaying products and services. From the modern, high-tech design of the stand to the demonstrations, from business solutions to the M-Pesa universe, the operator sought to show how different areas of technology end up converging on the same point: the experience of those who use them.
That is also where the recently launched campaign finds its meaning. In a sector in constant transformation, where price, coverage, speed and digital services continue to influence consumers' choices, Vodacom puts the quality of the experience at the centre of the conversation.
Riaz Jassat sums up this relationship in one essential word: trust.
“Trust is earned in the same way a strong brand is built: through consistent experiences, every day, over time.”
At FACIM 2026, Vodacom sought to turn that idea into a concrete experience, in a space where innovation and technology could be seen, tested and lived.
And it chose that stage to present to the market a simple but ambitious message: “Same Price. Better Quality”.
