Pink Me UP
Located outside the Hotel Cardoso, in the city of Maputo, Pink Me Up is an all-in-one salon for women’s beauty. It provides specialist services in hair, eyebrow and eyelash care, as well as waxing, facial make-up, hand and foot hygiene and beautifying, among other beauty procedures. Having noticed that the competition specialised only in certain types of service and not in a complete package (for example, on the day of a ceremony, a client would have to have her hair done in one place, her nails in another establishment and her make-up in a third, subjecting herself to full and inflexible schedules), it set out to fill a gap in the field by creating a luxury salon in a good location with affordable prices. There, with a single booking, clients have access to all these services, and some can even be done at the same time.

The soul of Pink Me Up is, without doubt, its image. Well decorated, it has plenty of details that live up to its name, in shades of pink, which they consider to be the colour that represents the female universe, seeking to convey the delicacy, beauty and softness so characteristic of women. To ensure an excellent service, they rely on specialist staff and take care to use articles of the highest quality. Most of the products are imported from the United States of America and are receiving very positive feedback from clients, which has, in a way, contributed to their loyalty.
In view of the conditions currently being experienced, the sanitising of all staff, of the premises and of clients is constant. Acrylic screens have been installed between the beauty professionals and the clients, to ensure appropriate distancing. Wherever possible, they opt for disposable materials. During all procedures and treatments, clients are given pink face masks, so that everyone is in tune with the atmosphere of that Pink world.
In the near future, they intend to extend their services to men, who have become increasingly demanding about their appearance and are very curious about the current establishment.
