Pink Ribbon
My October has a ribbon
A ribbon I take good care of
Once it represented femininity
and fragility
Today my ribbon tells of the colour of the strength
of affection and of resilience
My ribbon brings together women from all over the world
for the same cause
Each of us wears on her chest the symbol
of strength and empathy
My daughter came into the world at the hands of
a woman who carried the pink ribbon on her
chest and on her body
With courage and hope she fought and WON
She won and we all shall win
Stylish women touch each other
Prevention is also an act of self-love
I want roses in my pink October.
I want ribbons on my chest and in my heart.
