Irina Samade grew up surrounded by flowers, influenced by her mother, who devoted herself to growing violets. The love of flowers grew stronger over the years, with Irina creating arrangements for birthdays and family parties, never imagining that this passion would come to define her professional career.
The big turning point came when Irina had the chance to display her arrangements at a hair salon in Matola. This event proved to be a milestone in her career. "That was where I realised the potential of my work", she recalls. Determined, she began to devote herself fully to floral design.
To hone her skills, she invested in specialised training abroad. "Every technique and style I learned helped to shape my unique approach", she explains. Her floral arrangements reflect Korean, Brazilian and English influences, turning flowers into stunning visual experiences. "Every arrangement must tell a story" is one of the principles she follows.
Irina's success is also attributed to her ability to understand her customers. She offers personalised proposals and reminds them of special dates, creating a deep emotional bond. "Every flower we deliver carries a message, a feeling", she emphasises.
Frangipani Flores continues to innovate and expand. They plan to extend online sales and open a physical shop. They also intend to introduce new floral arrangement techniques and invest in courses to train new florists. The installation of vertical gardens is one of their innovative projects, reflecting growing trends in landscaping.
The company's name is inspired by the frangipani flower, also known as Plumeria, which in Chinese culture symbolises not only love but also the expression of a variety of feelings. "Our aim is to make sure customers smile with every delivery", says Irina. "Knowing that our company makes a difference and brings joy is the true reward."
