At the COMARP Awards 2026, Banco Comercial e de Investimentos (BCI) received two major accolades in the fields of Marketing and Communication, winning the awards for Best Digital Campaign and Best Marketing Professional. These two achievements take on particular significance in the year the Bank celebrates three decades of history, innovation and close relationships with the people of Mozambique.

Some awards celebrate achievements. Others honour the people who make them possible. At the COMARP Awards 2026, BCI received recognition in both areas, reaffirming the strength of a Brand that continues to evolve, innovate and build relationships of trust with Mozambicans.

The awards ceremony, held in Maputo, marked two particularly significant moments for BCI. The institution won the Best Digital Campaign 2026 award for its 30th anniversary campaign, while Ana Zara Fateally, the Bank's Head of Marketing, was named Best Marketing Professional 2026.

More than simply two awards, these distinctions represent recognition of a strategic approach to communication, rooted in creativity, innovation and an appreciation of the people who contribute every day to strengthening the BCI Brand.

A campaign that celebrates the past and inspires the future

The Best Digital Campaign 2026 award recognises an initiative that transformed BCI's anniversary into an opportunity to revisit the Bank's history and strengthen its connection with its various audiences. Rather than simply marking an anniversary, the campaign sought to bring to life three decades of growth, achievements and relationships built over time, while also conveying a vision for the future.

Through a narrative centred on trust, closeness and progress, the campaign established a connection between the Bank's development and the experiences, expectations and aspirations of Mozambicans.

In an environment where digital channels play an increasingly important role in the relationship between brands and their audiences, BCI demonstrated the value of communicating in a personal, contemporary and meaningful way, while remaining true to the values underpinning its identity.

The campaign thus reflects an approach in which communication goes beyond promoting products and services, becoming a means of celebrating the Bank's history, strengthening its institutional identity and building relationships for the future.

The talent and leadership behind the Brand

While the first award recognised the Brand's capacity for innovation, the second highlighted one of its greatest assets: its people.

By receiving the Best Marketing Professional 2026 award, Ana Zara Fateally, BCI's Head of Marketing, gained recognition for her professional career, leadership and contribution to the development and advancement of Marketing and Communication.

This distinction also highlights the importance of leadership guided by a strategic vision, capable of combining creativity, market knowledge and consistency in building a strong and relevant Brand.

For BCI, the recognition also has a collective dimension, acknowledging the dedication of the teams who turn strategies into tangible initiatives every day and help strengthen the Bank's relationships with its Customers, Employees, Partners and society as a whole.

It is this combination of vision, talent, creativity and commitment that gives rise to communication capable of keeping pace with market transformation, anticipating trends and reinforcing the identity of an institution that strives to be ever closer to people.

The two awards are particularly significant in the year BCI celebrates three decades of presence in the Mozambican market, marking a journey of growth, transformation and consolidation.

Over the years, the Bank has accompanied the country's economic and social development, contributing to the stimulation of economic activity, the development of financial solutions and greater access to banking services for different segments of the population.

These have been years of challenges overcome, achievements secured and relationships strengthened with Customers, Employees and Partners. A journey characterised by the ability to keep pace with the national economy, continuously improve its range of products and services and respond to the needs of an ever-changing market.

In this context, the awards received at the COMARP Awards represent more than recognition of achievements. They provide further encouragement to pursue innovation, strengthen meaningful communication and continue nurturing the trust that underpins the Bank's relationship with society.

In celebrating these achievements, BCI reaffirms its ambition to continue evolving alongside Mozambique, preserving the values that have shaped its identity while embracing the opportunities of a future that is constantly taking shape.

Because, beyond the awards that distinguish a Brand, it is the people and the trust they place in it that truly define its value.
