More than creating something new, what is often difficult in a financial relationship of trust is maintaining empathy and loyalty. Mindful of how important its relationship with all Mozambicans is, Absa Bank Moçambique has invested in modernising its branches in Gaza and Inhambane Provinces, demonstrating its commitment and dedication to improving its services.

Thus, the Maxixe branch, in Inhambane, and the Xai-xai branch, in Gaza, have had their premises refurbished. These new spaces bring a new image, a more modern and welcoming environment, and a more agile operational organisation, making all service smoother and more dynamic, entirely customer-oriented, thereby contributing to the realisation of its purpose.

Present at the inauguration of both branches, Pedro Carvalho, the institution's Managing Director, said: “It is with great honour and satisfaction that we inaugurate the reopening of the Absa branches in the cities of Maxixe and Xai-xai. Driven by our commitment to keep creating better conditions to welcome our customers and provide a favourable environment for our employees, we decided, a few months ago, to refurbish our branches, reinforcing our investment in a physical space with all the comforts necessary for carrying out our activities, and which allows us to put into practice a strategy of strengthening relations with our partners, with official bodies, with our customers and with the community in general”.

This therefore delivers a clear commitment to the development of formal commerce in both cities, always in line with a focus on progress, on the future and on innovation in the service of the country and its customers. With this commitment to closeness and to the relationship with its customers, Absa Bank Moçambique also ends up strengthening its relations with public and private institutions in Inhambane and Gaza.

‘’The branches in the Cities of Xai-Xai and Maxixe reaffirm the Bank's commitment as a financial institution at the service of Mozambicans and of the Mozambican economy. We continue to support customers, employees, business partners and the country in general, so that together we may continue to develop our businesses”, added the head of the financial institution.
