Already the owners of a maritime transport and tourist excursion company, the young couple chose Inhaca Island, more precisely the Muxina area, to realise their dream and, with the help of the Manganhela family, bought a plot of land and began building a house in 2017. The logistical challenges they faced were considerable, given the need to transport all the building materials by sailing boat from Maputo. Nevertheless, they overcame these adversities, building not only a house but also a wall to ensure privacy, and they quickly fell in love with the tranquillity of the place, the warmth of the locals and the magnificent beauty of the island. Inspired by the outdoor activities possible there, such as walking, fishing and diving, they decided to expand the project, creating a guesthouse with ten rooms, a dining room and a swimming pool, thus sharing their refuge with others.
