Millennium bim was present at the 60th edition of the Maputo International Fair — FACIM 2025, held from 25 to 31 August, as principal sponsor of the new Exporter's Pavilion, organised by ExportaMoz Solutions in partnership with APIEX (the Investment and Export Promotion Agency). This space was a true meeting platform for businesspeople, partners and visitors who believe in Mozambique's potential on the international market, reinforcing the Bank's role as a strategic partner in the internationalisation of the economy.
Millennium bim's participation in the country's biggest economic showcase coincided with the celebration of its 30 years of activity in Mozambique — three decades of closeness, trust and commitment to the development of businesses and of the country.
In a context in which Mozambique is seeking to establish itself as a relevant player in international trade, leveraged by its agricultural, energy and industrial potential, Millennium bim positions itself as a catalyst for economic growth, offering modern, flexible financial solutions tailored to the demands of companies that operate or intend to operate in global value chains.
According to Millennium bim's Executive Director, Januário Valente, “The financial sector fulfils its role when it directly supports the real economy. Millennium bim seeks to be a facilitator of international trade, offering solutions adapted to the needs of each company, from small exporters to large business groups. Our aim is to add value and open paths so that Mozambique can increasingly establish itself in the global market.”
During FACIM 2025, the Bank presented a portfolio of financial solutions specially designed to boost the growth and competitiveness of Mozambican companies. These solutions include export support mechanisms, financing and trade finance, as well as risk mitigation instruments, which allow companies to strengthen their competitiveness and project themselves on the international market.
With an approach built on sector specialisation — such as Energy and Infrastructure, Public Sector and NGOs, Trade, Industry and Agriculture — Millennium bim has been asserting a strategy of closeness, based on a deep understanding of its Customers' needs and the dynamics of value chains. With this approach, the Bank reaffirms its commitment to supporting the growth of national companies and to contributing to Mozambique's projection in the world.
