Throughout December, Millennium bim will hold the Natal Solidário (Christmas of Solidarity) nationwide, an initiative that reflects the Bank's commitment to supporting the neediest Mozambican communities. It will involve the active participation of volunteer Employees, visiting 20 organisations, including care institutions, hospitals and orphanages.
The Natal Solidário is part of the annual programme of Millennium bim's social responsibility programme "Mais Moçambique pra Mim", which includes initiatives with social impact in various areas. It is a way of helping to make the festive season a warmer time for those most in need.
“We do not only contribute to Mozambique's financial development. We also take on the responsibility of supporting the communities we serve in times of need. The Natal Solidário is more than a gesture of solidarity; it is a commitment to bring hope, joy and comfort to those who need it most, reinforcing our social role across the national territory”, says Moisés Jorge, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Millennium bim.
With this initiative, Millennium bim reaffirms its active presence across the country, showing that its positive impact goes beyond the financial sector, promoting a more caring and inclusive Mozambique.
