Millennium bim has supported the restoration project of the Shrine of São José de Boroma, located about thirty kilometres from the city of Tete, helping to restore beauty and dignity to this historic building, more than 100 years old, inaugurated in 1885.
Referring to this support, João Martins, Chairman of the Executive Committee of Millennium bim, stressed: “Millennium bim is proud to be able to support the preservation and revitalisation of Mozambique's historical and cultural heritage, a commitment that reflects our deep respect for the country's heritage, history and identity. The Shrine actively contributes to promoting the growth of local tourism, as well as education and vocational training, with a strong impact on communities, which fits with our vision of sustainability”.

Millennium bim thus reinforces its commitment to actively contributing to the construction, improvement and preservation of national historical heritage, enabling greater appreciation of the cultural elements of Tete province and of the country.

This project is part of Millennium bim's social responsibility programme “Mais Moçambique pra mim”.
