The well-known Mozambican journalist Conceição Queirós, already a reference in the Portuguese media, has decided to broaden her horizons and venture into the restaurant trade with the opening of the restaurant "Zóbue". Located on Rua José Niza, in Porto Salvo, Portugal, the new venue promises a singular gastronomic experience, with a menu that blends authentic flavours of Mozambique and India.
At "Zóbue", Queirós offers a tribute to the traditional cuisine of Mozambique, combining it with spices and influences from India, in a bold proposition full of history. The dishes celebrate both cultural diversity and the shared past between the two countries, which have in common a rich and intensely aromatic cuisine. Conceição Queirós thus wants to show the world the flavours of the land where she was born and grew up, and shares her traditions and memories through every meal served.
The restaurant, whose opening is scheduled for soon, aims to give visitors a journey through African flavours, complemented by the striking touch of India.
"Zóbue" is thus already beginning to arouse the interest of lovers of good food who, on entering the new restaurant’s doors, can expect everything from iconic Mozambican dishes to intensely spiced curries.
