The CFAO Mobility Mozambique group, the official representative of the Toyota, Suzuki and Hino brands, laid the foundation stone of its new headquarters in Maputo on Thursday, 16 October. The project, with an estimated duration of 12 months, aims to consolidate the brand's operation in Mozambique, raising standards of customer service, after-sales and operational efficiency. The investment, in the order of 10 million dollars, reflects the group's commitment to the economic, social and urban development of the capital, accompanying the expansion of its national network already under way.
With two floors and more than 27,000 square metres, the new complex will include a new showroom for new Toyota vehicles, another for used vehicles, a state-of-the-art workshop, Toyota Genuine Parts shops, technical areas and green spaces. The project favours more flexible processes, greater comfort for customers and employees, and resource-efficiency solutions, such as optimised technical lighting and more modern furniture and equipment.
As an integral part of this project, works are also under way to upgrade the access roads to the future premises, with the aim of significantly improving mobility for customers, employees and the local population. At the same time, a safe rainwater drainage system is being developed, covering both the building and the public road. This initiative aims to mitigate the environmental risks associated with erosion, contributing directly to the promotion of safer and more dignified living conditions for the surrounding community.
