UPCycles 2022
Audiovisual creative residency
The Association of Friends of the Cinema Museum in Mozambique (AAMCM) has announced that applications for projects are now open for the 3rd edition of the UPCycles Audiovisual Creative Residency. After the first edition was held in 2019, UPCycles was forced to postpone its activities in 2020 owing to restrictions on international travel, holding the second edition only in 2021. This year they are proud to welcome to Maputo the two tutors, Ângela Ferreira and Rita Rainho, as well as the seven artists to be selected through the application process, which runs until 31 March.
With a programme of two months of remote tutoring and an in-person residency period in Maputo, which will run from 28 August to 10 September, this AAMCM initiative culminates, as usual, with an exhibition at the Fortress of Maputo.
