Mulheres de Peito is a Brazilian documentary directed by Paula Galacini, inspired by the book "Força na peruca - tragédias e comédias de um cancro" by Mirela Janotti. It movingly portrays the story of five women who fought breast cancer and who give testimonies, speaking openly about the problems and challenges they faced throughout the treatment process. At the same time, interviews with doctors who deal with the disease every day are shared, conveying relevant information, including therapeutic advances, in a concise way and in accessible language. It also includes testimonies from other professionals, such as designers, tattoo artists, businesspeople and others who, although indirectly involved, present their actions to combat the disease, thus contributing to a broad view of the issue.
