Entergalactic is an animated feature film created by Kid Cudi, set against the backdrop of the bustling city of New York. It tells us the eventful story of Jabari, a promising graffiti artist who has just ended a relationship and finds himself living through a whirlwind of emotions. Although he still has feelings for his recent ex-girlfriend Carmen, he meets a new girl who has moved into his building, the talented photographer Meadow. Torn between an opportunity for real success in the art world, as he ends up being hired to do a major advertising campaign, and his personal problems, Jabari delights the audience with a modern and irreverent love story.
The animation has a bold, colour-filled visual style and an impressive cast, featuring the voices of Timothée Chalamet, Ty Dolla $ign, Vanessa Hudgens, Christopher Abbott, 070 Shake, Jaden Smith, Keith David, Teyana Taylor, Arturo Castro and Macaulay Culkin. It is available on the streaming platform Netflix, where, in its first week of release, it broke viewing records, being one of the most-watched titles in several countries around the world.
Kid Cudi took the opportunity to release, together with the animated film, his latest album, which has the same name and serves as the film's soundtrack. Cudi thus conquered the worlds of radio and cinema at the same time.
